The founding
In 2007, the family company’s business activities are further expanded into Eastern Europe with the establishment of the Diesel Mecanica in Constanta, Romania. In the Danube Delta region, DM is an official Caterpillar and John Deere Marine Dealer. DM provides services to customers operating in the Black Sea region, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Greece, Turkey and Georgia. DM also provides services to customers operating on the Danube; Serbia, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, and Germany. Diesel Mecanic is managed by Willem de Braal, son of Jan de Braal.
Caterpillar engines & parts
DM has well-trained and experienced mechanics on standby 24/7. Repair, maintenance and overhaul service on Caterpillar engines is offered by DM worldwide. If necessary, repairs and overhauls are performed at the workshop in Constanta, Romania.
Official Caterpillar parts are offered by DM at a competitive price. Moreover, the delivery time is very short, thanks to an extensive stock. DM customers can also take advantage of the CAT parts exchange program.
