Thanks to years of experience, DM has developed an approach in which quality and speed go hand in hand. A complete overhaul is carried out by DM within two to six weeks. This includes: disassembly, overhaul, test run in the test room, assembly, test sailing, and re-measurement.
Care
The quality of an overhaul is determined by the care with which it is carried out. That is why, after dismantling the engine, the basic parts are carefully checked. During this check, the latest techniques are used, such as infrared and magnetic field. The machining of parts is carried out in-house.
When should you do a overhaul?
When an engine needs to be overhauled, each case must be assessed individually. That is why we always come to you first, either on board or on location, to thoroughly inspect the engine. We then use an endoscope to examine the inside of the engine. Based on our findings, we will provide you with our recommendation. If it is indeed time for an overhaul, we will provide you with a quote and a schedule. At DM, a schedule is not just an empty promise. We make every effort to adhere to the schedule, and you can count on us to do so.
