Upgraden
When repowering, DM replaces your current engine with a new or completely reconditioned Caterpillar or John Deere engine that meets the latest requirements. DM has everything you need in stock: reverse gears, coolers, silencers, and engines. The result of repowering is spectacular: after two to six weeks, you will be sailing with state-of-the-art engines.
Engine room renovation
With your approval, we will take advantage of the repowering to also renovate your engine room. In most cases, significant gains can be achieved by replacing conventional technologies with ‘smart’ steel. Less weight combined with modern engines significantly improve the efficiency of your ship.
DM carries out the modification of the engine rooms in-house. Our engineers know the engines inside out and therefore know exactly what is needed to achieve a good result. Because the entire project is handled by DM, you can be sure that everything will fit together perfectly.
