Our Dutch sister company YES BV, in collaboration with emissions specialist Discom, has succeeded in developing a system for CCR-1 and CCR-2 engines and older engines with a power output of more than 560 kW, to comply with the NRMM EU STAGE V standard that will come into force in 2020.

When repowering, DM replaces your current engine with a new or completely overhauled Caterpillar or John Deere engine that meets the latest requirements.

Overhauling Caterpillar engines is a specialty of Diesel Mecanica. DM performs overhauls on board or in its workshop in Constanta, Romania. A Caterpillar engine is suitable for overhaul. Such an overhaul doubles the service life of the engine to more than twenty years.

Diesel Mecanica offers maintenance for your engines with or without a contract. Customized maintenance is not performed on a schedule, but based on your actual operating hours. This allows DM to anticipate the actual maintenance requirements of your engine and your business situation.

Diesel Mecanica is the official marine dealer for Caterpillar and John Deere in Romania. We supply propulsion systems, auxiliary engines, and generator sets for both brands. We also have a large stock of parts available, enabling us to help you quickly.
